2013 (70) November (1) South Africa - a detour to their skiing? October (5) September (5) August (6

While social media has been crowded out of the season's first skiing I've had a break from pre-season in South Africa. 10 days on the road with a comprehensive program opened not too heavy training, but with a little advance planning and utilization of the small hatches that existed was the total approved 3-4 endurance sessions and a couple of strength sessions. The first opportunity arose Already arrival in Cape Town. In the afternoon was Table Mountain on the common program. Fortunately, I have colleagues who are almost as restless as me, so the gondola was quickly replaced by the apostles horses and suddenly I got 55 min and 680 meters of breath and chased the narrow path and with lovely views over Cape Town. Table Mountain hike - the views over Cape Town Table Mountain Cape of Good Hope With such a good start, I could safely dedicate the next day for sightseeing. Sunday I had already booked a run on the trail around the "Lion's Head" by Graeme Run from Cape Town, a local ultra runner. And what a trip! Non-stop panorama of narrow lanes in glorious sunshine with a good mix of zones 1, 2 and 3, a proper lapskausøkt be nice to indulge in when the total training load.
Monday was spent in wine country, but between all the wine tasting I was still squeezed into a small jog between vineyards and a nearby golf course. It was good to stir, but the heat with a quarrelsome knee did that training outcomes were pretty miserable.
It is easy to recognize that the body does not respond well to hard training in the heat. The last six days of the trip was thus only one running session on the mill for maintenance and to create some circulation in the legs between 18-20 hours safari. Also running session was a safari with a view to elephants and other things that had to move in the bushes in front of the lodge.

Linda Oslo, Norway Enthusiastic super exerciser with heart for skiing. Went on active unit in their early teens. In my studies disneyland I found back to relatively good running form, but with working life came to an architectural roller coaster. Marathon in Madrid was completed in respectable show in 2002 before Ashtanga yoga was the main focus in 2002-2008. In 2009 2xmaraton and fantastic conditions in the forest made skis were frequently used. The shape may eventually be tested and in 2011 was the start of Marka Around and Norefjell race. Then there was no turning back and 2011/2012-sesongen I went mostly rubbel & piece of gutter and found a incredibly pleasant and inspiring training community in Team United Bakeries, later Team Skigo.
