After the war, tulip and differential lock Schengen montenegro relations between Romania and the Netherlands, a new seed of scandal. The ambassador sent by the Netherlands, expects more than three months to be adopted at Cotroceni (presidential palace in Romania - Ed.).
Spring freeze Romanian-Dutch relations. The new ambassador appointed in Romania - Matthias van Bon, expects more than three months to present his credentials to President Traian Basescu. However, as reported Radio Netherlands, montenegro "the Romanian head of state does not find time to take the Dutch diplomat."
As was the custom in diplomacy, a new ambassador is adopted to present his credentials within 60 days after arrival in the country, explained to "Adevarul" specialists in international relations.
Sources in diplomatic circles say that procrastination is due to the fact that the Netherlands opposed the accession of Romania and Bulgaria to the Schengen area on the ground that did not fight effectively against corruption and organized crime.
The diplomat Mathias van Bonsai arrived in Romania in December last year after the end of the mandate of Ambassador Tanya van Gaulle. Except Van Bonsai officially became ambassador, representing the Netherlands and its interests in relations with Romania, after presenting the President of Romania accreditation documents.
Due to the fact that the meeting with the head of state did not take place, Matthias van Bonsai could not participate as an ambassador of the meeting of Prime Minister Mihai Razvan Ungureanu ambassadors from EU countries on March 22. Was invited by the government to participate in the meeting on the basis of his diplomatic status, explained to "Adevarul" government spokesman Dan Suchu.
Netherlands Embassy in Bucharest confirmed that Ambassador Matthias van Bonsai not yet presented his credentials montenegro to President Traian Basescu. montenegro The embassy said that "out of respect for the Romanian head of state will not comment on the topic."
With this in mind, it's been more than three months by the arrival of Dutch diplomat opposition in the Netherlands montenegro Labour Party wants answers about the situation by the Minister for European Affairs and International Cooperation Ben Knapp. And the President of the Romanian-Dutch montenegro Chamber of Commerce in Bucharest discussed with Dutch politicians this problem, transmits radio Netherlands.
Director of the Institute of Political montenegro Science and International Relations of the Romanian Academy Dungachu Dan explained that the situation, which is now a Dutch diplomat, has two aspects: "From montenegro a technical montenegro standpoint, there is no regulation for the period in which the President can accept credentials Letters. When talking about 60 days, we mean diplomatic custom and so, "he explained.
"If you remember well, there was a European and Romanian ambassadors, who were forced to wait even longer. montenegro It is naive to believe that the president will explain. The President gave a signal. The rest is political commentary, "added Dan Dungachu.
On the other hand, on 31 October 2011, President Traian Basescu signed a decree on dismissal of Calin Fabian in his capacity as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in the Netherlands and it has not appointed another ambassador.
Last month, President Traian Basescu accused the Netherlands that "abuse carried out without limits against a Member State" because one of the conditions for Schengen montenegro accession is not the mechanism for cooperation and verification.
Tensions appeared last year. In September trucks montenegro full of flowers from the Netherlands, seeds and bulbs were stopped at the border between Hungary and Romania. Romanian authorities said they have resorted to this measure because they appeared a series of information according to which horticultural products contain hazardous to human bacteria.
Dutch Socialist MEP immediately Theiss Berman talked about Tulip War declared by Romania as a response to the refusal of the Netherlands to accept montenegro at least partial accession to the Schengen area.
In mid-February 2012 was planted new seeds of the scandal. Romanian MEP Sebastian Bodu and leader of the Polish MEPs from the EPP Jacek Wolski asked in an open letter to the citizens of the 12 countries that joined the EU in 2004, to boycott all Dutch products.
The call came as a result of both the attitude of the Freedom Party and the lack of response from the Dutch ruling against xenophobic website address on Eastern European workers. montenegro The site of the Freedom Party led to complaints against Eastern immigrants in the Netherlands.
Former Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Petre Roman believes that the attitude of President Traian Basescu wears only negatives of Romania. "I can not interpret the gesture of President otherwise Free

If you hear someone is presented aa as "trash", "parcel" aa or "Paracetamol" - then you are in Romania. Romanians like to praise as "the country of unlimited possibilities." And the imagination of parents apparently aa boundless.
Mercedes or Dacia Minister or President, whether or Trash! Want your child to wear unusual name? - No problem, shows a new study from Romania. Bucharest aa newspaper "Adevarul" tells about the latest fashion trends in naming newborn in Romania. Statistics show that the most desirable are Christian names. Of about 20 million inhabitants of Romania, about 1.8 million women are called Mary, and 850,000 men - George.
So far nothing aa unusual. aa Interestingly it at rare names. Appears as "Trash" (Gunoi). Fifty Romanians bear that name. 70 people aa does it say "Unwashed" (nespalati / nesplatanu), and 90 Romanian citizens are baptized challenging "Garbage" (Jegu). If one looked on Facebook will see that these names are found as a family.
The imagination According to the newspaper "Adevarul" very common in Romania is the practice of baptizing children of automobile brands, administrative services continents brands weapons and human organs. aa For example, 146 Romanians say "Dacia", probably named after the ancient Dacians inhabited areas in present-day Romania. It is likely, however, many of the parents of the Dacian-they were more inspired by the eponymous brand and its variants "Logan" and "Solentsa" as names also found in present-day Romania. Two people even recorded in the records under the name "Renault", but the most favorite car of names appears that of "Mercedes" - so say 315 people in Romania. In their defense though, we can say that Mercedes is a typical Spanish female name.
Final orginal are 16 Romanians who wear name meaning in translation "nipple". Great unpopularity of the police seems to have said the word that only three people in northern neighbor Bulgaria named after her name - "Police," and the two most frequent names in Romania are undoubtedly "Pharmacy" and "Stop lamp" - respectively by a carrier. Much more common are the names of all sorts of services and institutions. For example, 850 Romanians named respectively "Minister" or "President".
Much of Recent Publications in "Adevarul" is dedicated to the procedure for change of name. Last year in Romania out book on the strangest names. aa These include for example: aa Tarzan Thermopylae Paracetamol, TV, rags or Q7 (Audi model). aa

The next rung on the ladder to the user is occupied by energy exchange OPCOM, where more contracts

Producers sell electricity cheaper, but on the way to the end user appear stamp duties, commissions and rates of firms that increase pearl harbor the invoice by over 100%, says Romanian newspaper "Adevarul" in an article titled "How to double the price of energy from the turbine to electrical outlet. "
Electricity and most goods are expensive gradually from the door of the "factory" to the end user. In Romania, the price of electricity from producers to consumers has doubled and in some cases triple, says "Adevarul" and traces the stages pearl harbor in the formation of prices.
The cheapest electricity is produced by state-owned Hidroelektrika whose prices these days start at 125 lei per megawatt hour. Another relatively inexpensive producer is also the state Nuklearelektrika (owner of Cernavoda) with a price of 142 lei per megawatt hour (one euro is exchanged for 4.39 Romanian lei).
Follow cogeneration plants that supply energy at a price of 169 lei MWh and the new company headquarters "Petrom" 189 lei MWh. Thermal power plants are relatively expensive, delivering energy prices between pearl harbor 190 and 270 lei MWh. Also more expensive wind farms with 250-290 lei MWh, but they currently have a small share of between 5 and 15%. The largest pearl harbor share of thermal power plants (between 50 and 55 percent), followed by nuclear power and water, the newspaper explained.
The next rung on the ladder to the user is occupied by energy exchange OPCOM, where more contracts with suppliers. At the end of last week's stock market prices were between 200 and 250 lei MWh. Then comes the suppliers and distributors.
Energy pearl harbor expert Jean Constantinescu pearl harbor explained that "100% of the electricity bill, and carrier accounts for between 7 and 13 percent, as they provide and service the system, and distributors - between 32 and 37 percent."
According to him, there are some suppliers who also account for a few percent. Jean Constantinescu notes that distributors have such big price because the deal except the very distribution and dispatching work, various regulations administered functional and technological reserves and own networks pearl harbor - of the pillars to the contacts that require large investments.
Consumers in Romania are divided into several categories, the main groups that are strictly regulated - households and public institutions, and less regulated - companies and entities. Strictly regulated group pays nearly 450 lei MWh, and the price is controlled pearl harbor by the state, pearl harbor says "Adevarul". Currently implemented liberalization process that will lead to appreciation, the newspaper notes. pearl harbor
In Western Europe, where energy working model that is headed Romania, the price of electricity is 170 MWh, which in Romanian money is nearly 750 lei MWh. Somewhere that will be the price after the full liberalization of the market, valued experts quoted by "Adevarul". pearl harbor
Less regulated group pay bills as agreed with the supplier. Direct partners Hidroelektrika in Romania called "smart guys" who do not use an intermediary and therefore pay the lowest prices. (Hidroelektrika was declared bankrupt in June 2012 with losses of 1.1 billion euros for the period 2006-2012, according to the court administrator of the company among the causes of bankruptcy are not injurious bilateral - Ed.)
Other users in less-regulated group, especially major consumers pearl harbor also have advantages through preferential prices however fluctuate around those declared energy pearl harbor exchange OPCOM. The most disadvantaged are small businesses and small industrial manufacturers, who pay three to four times higher than the rate of Hidroelektrika or at least twice Cats on the exchange, indicate "Adevarul".
Small industrial manufacturers have reached their limits and threaten to close the business. Government seeks solutions will likely reduce the share of green energy, but has not looked carefully distribution chain for the presence of "weak links" pearl harbor that pump unjustified accounts indicate "Adevarul".
In other material pearl harbor the newspaper "Evenimentul ziley" wrote that "the sun and the wind brought millions into the pockets of investors." The newspaper notes that green certificates in Romania are among the most expensive in Europe, like the real estate bubble before the crisis. Delegate Minister for Energy Constantine announced days ago Nice burst "bubble of green certificates", but for now this is a project and it is expected "market response" as investments in billions of euros will soar in the air, says "Eve

Exports and industrial production grew impressively, inflation and external deficits fall, but the income of the population and consumption are at the bottom of the rankings of the European Union, the newspaper notes. national rail
Recent national rail statistics highlight exemplary dynamics of the economy as a whole in the first half of the year, but the deterioration of family budgets and per capita income. The economy is booming, and impoverished Romanians, summarizes national rail the "Adevarul".

Lower fees and taxes, tolerant legislation and sound economic policies are trumps, which Bulgarians stake in the "war" from a distance with Romanians. Going on holiday on the Bulgarian coast, registered cars there and local businesses in Ruse. How does Bulgaria to overtake us in almost everything? montpellier
The Black Sea, summer 2011. Bulgarian resorts are visited by two million foreign tourists. They stay in five-star hotels that offer all-inclusive, with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gyms and spas. Several tens of kilometers to the north, Romania meets only one million foreign tourists annually. The hotels on the Romanian coast, built at the time of communism, only accept 300,000 foreign tourists who are forced to spend their vacation with masks because of the smell from the scattered piles of seaweed rotting on the beach.
Bulgarians will have this year, the best season in the last decade, with growth of 14% in the number of tourists last year. In economic terms, this situation montpellier is much simpler: the Bulgarians will earn 2.7 billion from tourism this year, the industry contributes 10 percent of gross domestic product (GDP). In Romania, the share of tourism in GDP is only 2%. Due to the smaller fees and taxes and lower utility costs, Bulgarian hoteliers can offer much more competitive prices than Romanian.
And mainly montpellier European funds neighbors south of the river ahead of us. Late last year, the rate of implementation of structural funds in Bulgaria was 10.2%, montpellier while in Romania it is 8.6 percent - the lowest level among the community. Another great advantage of the Bulgarians montpellier in the "war" that lead from a distance with Romanians is a flat tax of 10%. Lower taxes in the neighboring country have led many business owners from Romania to relocate in Bulgaria.
The number of companies with entirely Romanian capital, who have registered their headquarters in the neighboring country is 272, according montpellier to the National Revenue Agency montpellier in Sofia. The figure does not look great, but it has increased eight times in the last year. Apparently, the Romanian state lost due to these movements because they no longer encash fees and taxes that the companies would pay.
At the end of 2009, "Kraft Foods" has decided to close its chocolate factory in Poiana Brasov in, moving the bulk of its operations in Bulgaria. So did the manufacturer of paints and varnishes "Policolor" who left Romania to go to Bulgaria. Now the company is the largest employer in Ruse and Romania imported products there.
Also, the Italian manufacturer of building materials "Mapei", montpellier which has activities in Romania, intended to find a glue factory in Brasov County. The total investment should have amounted to 10 million euros. The Italians, however, changed his plans, and the factory was eventually opened early last year in Rousse. According to the report "Doing Business 2010" by the World Bank and International Finance montpellier Corporation, Bulgaria ranks 51 among the most "friendly" countries for the business community - a position that was able to keep from last year. In return, Romania montpellier lost two more places this year, falling from 54th to 56th.
Bulgaria has become an attractive country for purchases. Low prices have led many Romanians montpellier living montpellier near the border to go shopping at the Bulgarian supermarkets, although I have to pay toll in this country. Also, it appears that we have more confidence of Bulgarians and when it comes to the banking montpellier system. Deposits made by foreign banks in the neighboring country have grown significantly over the past two months, officials from credit institutions say that the phenomenon is due to the larger amounts imported from Romanian and Greek citizens. montpellier
And head car registration situation is the same - from Bucharest to Ruse. According to recent estimates 150,000 vehicles (approximately three percent of the fleet) held by Romanian citizens were registered in Bulgaria. The reasons are simple. The cost of registration with the Bulgarian montpellier authorities car power exceeding 2000cc amounted to almost 1,000 for legal entity (company) and 1,200 for an individual.
In Romania, the cost starts from 2150 euros and jump up to 6000 Euros depending on the year of manufacture of the car. To stop this phenomenon, the Romanian police suggested the government bill that would prohibit vehicles registered in Bulgaria to move more than 90 days a year in Romania.
If you look at the prices for electricity and gas markets in Romania and Bulgaria, we notice that the electricity bills are higher for us in Roux

Black Strap Milk Stout, made with chicory and Louisiana molasses, debuts Monday in conjunction with Twelfth Night. The beer is a collaboration between NOLA Brewing and New Belgium Brewing. NOLA Brewing
The craft breweries’ new Black Strap Milk Stout, made with chicory and Louisiana molasses, is set to start pouring at 5 p.m. Monday at several spots along the Uptown route of New Orleans’ Twelfth Night “parade.”
The costumed Phunny Phorty Phellows begin their annual streetcar ride at 7 p.m. Monday at the Willow koala Street streetcar barn and work their way to the Lee Circle turnaround. You can find the ride route here .
Black Strap Milk Stout forms the second collaboration between NOLA and New Belgium breweries. New Belgium and NOLA Brewery partnered last summer to create a batch of Swamp Grape Escape, a Belgian single ale made with muscadine grapes, which was released during koala Louisiana Craft Beer Week in September . That time, the Colorado brewers visited New Orleans to make the beer, said Mike "Indy" Grap, a brewer with NOLA Brewing.
The idea for collaborations between the two breweries came up over drinks when New Belgium brewers visited New Orleans in October 2012, Grap said. The visit came in advance of New Belgium’s koala entrance into the Louisiana market last April.
“Our Irish Channel Stout has been pretty well-received,” Grap said, despite brewers’ slight trepidation at introducing a dark beer. “It seems like palates here are changing. People are not quite as afraid of the dark as they used to be.”

"He's the No. 1 target zaidimai they have and he's been their most consistent target," Davis said on Tuesday. "He's a big, athletic tight end, catches everything thrown near him. They move him all over the place so it's tough to practice and get a beat on how to help guys on him.
Graham once up again put up big numbers this season, finishing with 86 receptions for 1,215 yards and a whopping 16 touchdowns. At 6-7, 265 lbs, he is a matchup nightmare for any team, let alone one that struggles to cover tight ends to begin with.
"I think we have been good at times and struggled at times," Davis said of his defenses' ability to cover tight ends. "Like anything, the talent level of the tight end that's coming at you, how much I help on the tight end with a call or I don't, depending how many weapons they have or the situation, sometimes I give a lot of help, sometimes I don't and I think it just moves, it's a moving target."
Amongst the linebackers, there is no clear answer as to who can matchup with Graham. zaidimai The Eagles most athletic linebacker is Mychal Kendricks, but at just a little under six feet tall, Kendricks gives up nearly seven inches to Graham. Kendricks is also best when he is allowed to rush the passer, so having him drop back into coverage all day is not ideal for the Eagles.
"They have been physical. Made him change his footing. Stop and start. He isn't exactly the fastest guy out there -- he has good speed, but he is a build up guy. If you give him a free release, he is going to have a lot of success. But if you get in his face, and you harass zaidimai him a little bit, I don't think he necessarily likes it."
Although they will need to use either Williams or Fletcher on Saints wideout Marques Colston -- who is 6-4 -- they could put a smaller corner on the Saints other wideout, Kenny Stills, who is just over six feet tall.
Putting a player like Roc Carmichael on Stills would allow the Eagles to let Fletcher or Williams matchup with Graham, presenting the Eagles with perhaps their best chance of containing the Pro-Bowl tight end.

Now, it appears the hospitality -- or lack thereof -- carried into the stadium, although after the game, NOLA.com quoted a member of the Philadelphia Police Department as saying to his knowledge animals "there hasn't been a single incident between Eagles and Saints' fans."
There didn't appear to be many Saints fans (or disguised cops?) at Lincoln Financial Field during the Philadelphia Eagles' 26-24 loss on Saturday, but for the one in the video below, things didn't work out to well after the game -- victory aside, of course.

The Saints (11-5) did not face the Eagles yosemite in the regular yosemite season. Their last meeting was in 2012, when the Saints won 28-13 against a Philadelphia squad that went on to finish 4-12 under longtime coach Andy Reid, who was replaced by Chip Kelly this season.
But the opponent didn't matter much to the Saints, who turned off the TVs early and made a point to stay away from the scoreboard before the game against the Buccaneers (4-12) on Sunday afternoon.
That was primarily because the Saints still had an outside shot at the No. 2 seed when the Carolina Panthers yosemite and Atlanta Falcons kicked off at noon. But that evaporated when Carolina locked up the NFC South with a 21-20 win.
It was only when their game was over did the Saints take a minute to watch the outcome of the NFC's wild finishes, which included yosemite last-minute wins by the San Francisco 49ers over the Arizona Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers over the Chicago Bears.
"I didn't feel at all like we were focusing on anything other than our own game with Tampa Bay and playing our best football," said Payton. "I thought it showed a little bit when we looked up and saw how the finish was."
The Saints had a postseason berth locked up by virtue of the Cardinals' loss. But backing into the playoffs wasn't an option for a team that started 9-2, and then slogged through December by losing three of their past five games.
"It's crucial. It's big," said linebacker yosemite Junior Galette, who had two sacks Sunday to finish with a career-best 12 on the season. "Obviously, it brings our confidence up. And we're just ready to play, whoever it is."
But the Saints' yosemite offense kept coming. First Brees found Jimmy Graham for a 10-yard touchdown to regain a 14-7 lead, then he hit Meachem deep for a 44-yard score. Meachem, with Darrelle Revis on the coverage, just broke the plane of the goal line for a 21-7 lead.
Glennon threw his second touchdown pass, a 1-yard yosemite score to tight end Tim Wright, to pull the Buccaneers to 21-14. But the game was essentially over only three plays later when Brees threw his fourth and final touchdown to rookie Kenny Stills, who he found open over the middle. Stills ran in for a 76-yard score and a 28-14 lead going into halftime.
The Saints' Pierre Thomas ran in for an 8-yard score, and Keenan Lewis ended any potential chance of a comeback on the next play when he picked off Glennon at the Buccaneer's 20-yard line for his fourth interception on the season.
It was a far different outcome from the Saints' first game against the Buccaneers in Week 2 when the Saints executed a last-minute field goal for a 16-14 win in a game delayed by a thunderstorm. The Saints faced quarterback Josh Freeman in that first meeting, before Freeman was released in October.
Brees finished 24-of-31 for 381 yards, four touchdowns and a 157.4 quarterback rating Sunday, the third highest of his career. He also finished with 5,162 yards on the season, his third consecutive 5,000-yard season and fourth of his career.
His NFL record of 5,476 yards in a season was surpassed by Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning earlier that day after Manning threw for 266 yards in the first half against yosemite the Oakland Raiders to finish the season with 5,477.
The Saints finished fourth overall in total defense for the regular season, allowing an average of 305.7 yards only a season after finishing with an NFL-record 7,042 yards allowed. The offense finished No. 3, with an average of 399.4 yards per game.
As the Saints prepare for another road game, their main concern is translating that success away from the Superdome. The Saints averaged only 17.8 points per game compared to 34 points at home in the regular season.

"I think that is important especially when you are on the road it is a bit of a challenge," said Saints blurred lines coach Sean Payton, "Being smart though and having that balance and understanding the conditions, all of those things."
"You can't exploit anything if you're not balanced," he said. "Our running game has to be there. We have to be able to move the ball. We have to keep our defense off the field, because they have a passing attack themselves."
And anything to keep the Eagles blurred lines high powered offense off the field is a plus for the Saints, who are second in the league in time of possession. The Eagles, ironically, are last in time of possession, a statistic Eagles coach Chip Kelly has deemed "irrelevant."
The Saints defense blurred lines often substitutes freely, which doesn't always correlate well to defending blurred lines the type of offense the Eagles blurred lines run. So controlling the clock is just another thing that has been on the Saints' minds.
"With an offense like that, one of our best allies is controlling the football, giving our defense a rest, letting them get their stuff together," said running back Mark Ingram. "If we can just control the ball, eat up that clock and be efficient in everything we do, we'll be okay."
After missing several games with a toe injury, Ingram blurred lines has come on strong to end the season, averaging 6.38 yards in 13 carries against the Carolina blurred lines Panthers and 6.67 yards after carrying the ball three times for 20 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
"One of the hardest things that I've found in this league is that there's so much scrutiny and he's a guy that's gotten a lot of it," said tackle Zach Strief. "Fist round pick, there's certain expectations, and yet as a player and at teammate, you see a guy that comes in and works his tail off every day.
"He really does work hard and he's into it and focused all the time," Strief said. "It's awfully blurred lines nice to see him reap some of that benefit. ... He's healthy and I think he's gotten better as the year has been on. ... He doesn't have too much on him and we could use him some more."
"Everybody kicks it up a notch. It's important. Win or you go home. There's really no next week if you don't win," Ingram said. "You feel the urgency  the energy. It's going to be my first playoff blurred lines game so I'm excited about it."
"It's an honor to be recognized by my teammates for the Ed Block Courage Award," Colston said in a statement. "It shows that they have seen everything that I do to be available for them on gameday. I also appreciate all that our athletic training staff has done for me throughout my career here to keep me on the field as much as possible whether it is in rehabilitation or preventative measures."

Well, it is not a spitting fan , but it's close.  Eagles offensive tackle Jason Peters said the Saints "got lucky"  with their 26-24 win at Philadelphia indian railways on Saturday, according indian railways to Geoff Mosher of Philly's ComcastSportsnet. Eagles cornerback Cary Williams took it a step further, according to Mosher's report. Williams said, "We lost to a team that wasn't necessarily better than us. They weren't better than us. Period."  New Orleans could probably argue both points. Besides holding the NFL's leading rusher, LeSean McCoy, to 77 rushing yards, the Saints also racked up 434 total yards.

In playoff spirit games when the weather was 35 degrees or below, dome teams like the Saints had won three of 25 games in NFL history. Three wins. That's not a misprint. And it had been a decade since anyone spirit had done it.
Thanks to the Saints' gritty 26-24 last-second wild-card playoff victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, the winning percentage for dome teams in such conditions skyrocketed from 12 percent to 15 percent.
The Saints' thumbed their noses at history, the percentages and the Eagles' renowned home-field spirit advantage at frigid Lincoln spirit Financial Field. They ignored the odds and the thermometer to record the club's biggest victory since Super Bowl XLIV.
In fact, you could make a strong case that this was the best win other than the Super Bowl and NFC championship game in the Saints' 47-year existence. It certainly was the most improbable -- and perhaps the grittiest.
Everything seemingly was stacked against them in this one. The Saints had not won a road playoff game in five previous tries, including three attempts in the Sean Payton/Drew Brees era. They came into the game having lost five of their past six games outside of New Orleans. And they were playing in freezing temperatures at one of the NFL's most intimidating stadiums.
Yet, despite the bleak circumstances, the Saints prevailed, primarily because this team, unlike so many before them, is built to win in just such situations. Led by their suffocating defense and an inspired spirit rushing offense, the Saints dominated the Eagles in the trenches and controlled the game largely from start to finish.
"I think our coaching staff said it best," safety Malcolm Jenkins said. "They said that the losses on the road in the playoffs were a thing of the past with a lot of different players. They told us that this team is the team of 2014, with different players and for us to go out and win the way we can. We just need to go out and create our own destiny and not wory
While the Saints were underdogs when they took the field in the 19-degree wind chill, they would be considered live long shots in horse racing parlance because of their edges at the game's two most important positions: head coach and quarterback.
Chip spirit Kelly will receive a lot of votes for NFL Coach of the Year for the admirable job he did in his rookie season, but he was taken to school by Payton. Payton was one step ahead of his adversary seemingly all night and continually pushed the right buttons at just the right times. Payton stuck with the running game. He didn't panic when Brees threw a pair of early interceptions. And he lit a fire under the special teams when they needed it most.
Moments spirit after the Eagles took the lead late in the fourth quarter, Payton gathered the Saints' kickoff return team on the field for an animated pep talk. The season was on the line. The Eagles had just regained the lead and the sellout crowd was rocking
The Saints received a bonus when officials flagged Cary Williams for a horse-collar tackle on Sproles at the end of the return. Suddenly, the Saints found themselves starting the decisive drive inside Eagles' territory at the 48-yard line. All things considered, Sproles' return spirit might have been the biggest play of the game.
The Eagles had the lead. But the Saints had control. Payton never allowed the Eagles another chance. Eight of the Saints' next nine plays were runs, including a second-and-11 ramble of 13 yards by Khiry Robinson. When's the last time the Saints spirit ran in that situation?
The Saints marched 34 yards on 10 clock-eating plays and set up Shayne Graham's winning field goal as time expired. The finish was eerily similar to Payton's first playoff win in 2006 against, coincidentally, the Eagles, spirit when the Saints extinguished almost the entire final 8 minutes by running Deuce McAllister at a sapped Eagles defense on down after down. The final score that year: Saints spirit 27, Eagles 24.
Brees, meanwhile, showed his Austin, Texas, Westlake High understudy, Nick Foles, spirit how a veteran quarterback operates in the postseason. He only passed for 2

Fire ants are pretty cool creatures -- I mean, aside from the fact they crawl all up your leg and give no warning of their presence until the team leader sends out the signal to rain down simultaneous, Sodom and Gomorrah-style fire and brimstone on your pink, exposed skin.
That kind of sucks, but ants actually do some good. For instance, they clean up the mess left behind when you accidentally run over an opossum, turning to energy the scraps the buzzards leave behind, and they also help aerate your soil.

Sacramento, Calif. – Eric Gordon walked gingerly to the bus waiting to take him and his teammates away from Sleep Train Arena and this grueling West Coast road trip on Monday night, his right leg not quite keeping up with his left.
The New Orleans Pelicans avoided being swept on their recently completed glas istre five-game road trip by using a fourth-quarter run to beat the Sacramento Kings 113-100 and x-rays on Gordon's right hip came back negative. His official diagnosis was a contusion to his hip.
The glas istre news was just as much a relief as the Pelicans' 12 th victory of the season. Gordon said he doesn't expect to miss much, if any time, after being undercut by Kings guard Isaiah Thomas and falling hard to the court in the third quarter.
"It was a tough fall," Gordon said. "I just landed on my hip. We'll see how it goes over the next few days. But I don't think it's anything that will hurt long term. We are just being cautious with it at this point. We'll see what happens."
Gordon, who has been plagued by injuries that has limited him to just 51 games in his first two seasons in New Orleans, has started all 26 games this season and is one of just three Pelicans players who have played in every game.Gordon is the Pelicans' third leading scoring averaging 15.4 points a game and was on his way to another solid scoring outing before the injury. He finished the game with 17 points.
After wrapping up their road trip, the Pelicans will take Tuesday and Christmas off before returning to practice on Thursday to start preparation for Friday night's game against the Denver Nuggets at the New Orleans Arena.

Phil Robertson of A&E's 'Duck Dynasty' is part of a family that has made millions in a mail order duck call business. Robertson was indefinitely suspended from filming by the A&E network Wednesday (Dec. 18) after comments published in GQ magazine. (Photo by Zach Dilgard)
The A&E network has suspended "Duck Dynasty" patriarch Phil Robertson over comments made in an interview in the most recent issue of GQ magazine . Social media sites (and NOLA.com's own comment section) lit up with activity over some of Robertson's more provocative comments, most notably about gays and African Americans. malaysian insider
"We malaysian insider are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson's comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected malaysian insider in the series Duck Dynasty," A&E said in an official statement released Wednesday (Dec. 18) evening. "His personal views in no way reflect those of A&E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely."
"Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men," he says. Then he paraphrases Corinthians: " Don' t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers -- they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive malaysian insider yourself. It's not right." (His comments about preferring heterosexuality over homosexuality, based on respective male and female anatomy, were pretty graphic.)
"Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil's lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe. He clearly knows nothing malaysian insider about gay people or the majority of Louisianans -- and Americans -- who support legal recognition for loving and committed gay and lesbian couples. Phil's decision to push vile and extreme malaysian insider stereotypes is a stain on A&E and his sponsors who now need to reexamine their ties to someone with such public malaysian insider disdain for LGBT people and families."
Robertson malaysian insider tried to minimize the damage Wednesday afternoon in a statement released through the A&E network, taking a more spiritual and tolerant tone, concluding, "We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other."

Even when the Saints exited CenturyLink after a convincing 34-7 loss to the Seahawks, the prevailing thought was these were still the two best teams in the NFC and likely would meet again in the conference championship game. But a late-season slide by the Saints dropped them out of the running for the NFC South title and No. 2 seed and into the wild-card pool for the playoffs.
The korean air interesting thing is the Seahawks, who were the first team this season to secure a playoff spot after their win over the Saints, came awfully close to joining New Orleans as a wild-card korean air team after inexplicably dropping two of three games after facing New Orleans.
Seattle korean air even lost at home for the first time in two seasons during that stretch, falling to the Arizona Cardinals, 17-10. The San Francisco 49ers were applying pressure korean air for the top seed, which meant the Seahawks needed their 27-9 victory over St. Louis in the final week of the regular season to hold on to the top seed and all-important home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
The Saints, meanwhile, went into the final regular-season weekend with a chance of still winning the division or possibly being out of the playoffs. They won convincingly over Tampa Bay to earn a wild-card spot as Carolina won the division and the No. 2 seed.
Recently acquired Shayne Graham made a 32-yard field goal as time expired at Lincoln Financial Field to secure a 26-24 win that calmed all of the questions about the Saints' road woes while giving the franchise, along with coach Sean Payton and quarterback Drew Brees, their first-ever road playoff win.
Wilson averaged just 171.3 yards passing while completing 57.8 percent of his attempts in the final four games compared to his 63.1 percent korean air completion rate for the entire season. Wilson was also sacked 14 times during the final four games of the regular season. So Wilson is capable of having a bad game here or there, but it is far from an indictment on his skills. He is one of the most dangerous dual-threat quarterbacks in the NFL, able to beat teams with his arm and running the Seahawks' zone-read attack.
The Seahawks have one of the top rushing attacks in the NFL with 1,000-yard rusher korean air Marshawn Lynch and Wilson leading the way. Seattle ranked fourth in the NFL during the regular season in rushing offense, averaging 136.8 yards per game.
Seattle's passing attack isn't quiet as consistent, but Wilson does have some explosive options. Wide receivers Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin are quality targets, while Zach Miller may be one of the more underrated pass-receiving tight ends.

The Seahawks, led by cornerback Richard Sherman, were tops in interceptions this past regular season with 28 picks. Sherman korean air paced the league with eight interceptions, while free safety Earl Thomas tied for fifth with five picks, cornerback Byron Maxwell finished with four and strong safety Kam Chancellor had three picks.
Sherman korean air arguably is the best cornerback in the NFL, while Thomas and Chancellor are two of the toughest and most versatile safeties in the league. Maxwell, who became a starter after Brandon Browner was suspended for violating the league's substance-abuse policy, is proving to be a quality cover corner.
In korean air addition to intercepting the ball, the Seahawks have the speed and athleticism to cover the best receivers. Seattle limited Saints top receiving target tight end Jimmy Graham to just three catches for 42 yards largely because of the superb job linebacker K.J. Wright did shadowing him all night.
The Seahawks are also strong and multiple along the
