EC suspected the American company in the conclusion of unlawful agreements with the tax authorities in Ireland as a result of which it was favored paying taxes less than 2%, reported the Financial Times.
Apple, for its part, denies the charges. "There are no agreements and assistance from the government," said Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri. In his words, the actions of Apple in Ireland dominican republic are responsible and transparent.
