Invitation to Dresden Summer montreal School 2014
"Power, knowledge, participation. Collection Institutions montreal in the 21st Century" is the theme of Dresden Summer School 2014, to which we are in September, together with the Technical University of Dresden, the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden, the Military History Museum of the Bundeswehr, and the State Art Collections Dresden invite.
The two-week program includes lectures, montreal workshops and panel discussions, and conversations in individual homes, their collections, exhibitions and portfolios. In the accompanying, laboratory 'engage the participants on issues from the program and independently develop concrete solutions and concepts that will be presented to the public at the end of the Summer School. Are invited young scholars of architecture, archive, library, information and documentation montreal system, ethnology, German, montreal history, art history, museology, philosophy, political science, sociology and related subjects - as well as young museum professionals. Application deadline is the 16th May 2014.
