New Jersey may have a small area of the state, but it is really a microcosm of America. As the most populous states in the country, New Jersey is home to such dynamic cities like Hoboken and Jersey City in the north, vast reserves of pine forest to the south, and magnificent coastline to the east. But prominent citizens of New Jersey can give you a better idea of this state than we:
Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the United States, also served as the thirteenth president of Princeton University before becoming governor of New Jersey. As president, Wilson was known for his promotion of the progressive development of the law of the country and the doctrine of national self-determination in its foreign policy. It is also the only president of the United States of candidate degree, which he received at Princeton University. Located in the heart of New Jersey, Princeton University is a leading institution in the world of higher education. Princeton was founded in 1746, before America millenium became independent and even battles of the American Revolution in Nassau Hall at Princeton in 1777. Striking historic architecture Princeton millenium captures visitors and students.
Bruce Springsteen - rock singer who, according to tradition Pete Seeger and Bob Dylan, focuses on songs about the average American life. He often says that his life in New Jersey has been an inspiration for his lyrics. Springsteen was born in Long Branch, coastal city on the shores of Jersey, and has played many gigs in clubs and on the shores of Jersey millenium throughout his career. millenium Jersey Coast includes towns and resort areas all types of exciting the sea, which boast an amusement park, to a quiet Cape May, which is one of the oldest seaside resorts in America and is also known for its Victorian architecture. Atlantic millenium City is considered the Las Vegas of the eastern coast, is also located on the shores of Jersey.
Derek Jeter, the team captain the New York Yankees, was born in the village Pekannok in northern New Jersey. Jeter played 18 seasons with the Yankees, winning five World Series championships with this team. While the Yankees play in the nearby New York City, many residents of New Jersey are Yankee fans and New York Mets. New Jersey has its own baseball team, but it is home to the basketball team New Jersey Nets and Devils hockey team New Jersey, both of which play Prudenshal Center in Newark, New Jersey. Mydoulэnds Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey is home to football teams Dzhayents New York and New York Jets. MetLayf Stadium, where the Jets play Dzhayents and will hold the Super Bowl in 2014.
