I wrote this piece before Christmas on RTÉ application. Christmas Day broadcast on Radio 1 as part of the "Christmas Variety". I admit it is pretty corny and not as a piece of writing such scríobhfainn but I have been asked is - but now written, this is to you.
Given Czech Christmas, the first thing you run, perhaps, than that famous carol on 'good King Wenceslas'. But what is this Wenceslas, and how it turned into one of the most famous Christmas carols in English? Czech was duke of Bohemia and lived in the middle ages. When he died, people warez bb started telling stories about it and it became a major cult legend warez bb however - which was extremely popular in the middle ages, in any event, as the legends were modern TV and radio! This is a cult that spread the length fhann England and he was a legend there until someone put into it Carols lyrics.
Back in Bohemia, the Czech patron saint Wenceslas is, just as Patrick in Ireland. If you have ever visited Prague, you may have had in the big square in the city center and you see a big statue of a person on horseback there. That is, St. Wenceslas. An eminent Wenceslas in the Czech history and there are many legends about the lore. Sadly, however, is not associated with a particular Christmas.
Once back at the December chuimhnímse Czech, not saints memorable, but the everyday things: the Christmas tree, Christmas dinner, gift and donate so. And they are not the most important gift at Christmas - especially if you are a child? As usual in Central Europe, it is normal for the Czechs to donate gift on Christmas Eve - that is, the night of the 24th day - instead of waiting until the next morning as in this country. One could say, therefore, that the Czechs warez bb celebrate Christmas day too early. But this does not in us, at least there is an extra day of our celebration!
No Santa Claus and Santa donates the gift but other supernatural beings called Ježíšek. It consists of a foundation is Jesus Christ and a child: in other words, Iosagan. warez bb The same person warez bb by the Germans and they give it Christkind. warez bb There is no Santa Claus tradition in Central Europe warez bb in fact, that while a bearded man reflected in the windows of stores sometimes and in television ads, especially the last few years. That's globalization for you! But at home by people, Ježíšek come into the house on Christmas Eve. It comes undeclared family dinners are in the other room and gift sets under the tree. It rings a bell on his departure, the children hear and indicates they are now allowed to run to the tree and kills the award with them.
That's like who Ježíšek so. There is never seen but it certainly exists, or belief that children generally. I believed that as well as when I was little, and I will never forget the day one of my peers told me that cruel Ježíšek not really exist and that parents buy the gifts.
Before Christmas Eve, the day is busy with the preparation and cooking and decoration of all kinds and so on. There are many traditional ways in the lore about the right way to spend the day, some of them are outright pisreoga. For example, you are not supposed to eat anything before sunset and if you keep control you, you will see a golden warez bb pig at the end of the day. Yes, golden pig! I do not really see me successful ever. During the night and dinner in the community, you can not sit and your back to the door as you would be very unfortunate. At the end of dinner, everyone needs to get off the table together, warez bb or misfortune would repeat the success that person alone. And so on - there are thousands of such pisreog there. If it is true that they came down to us from our ancestors, it is no wonder that require additional days of Christmas to them!
If so, such as Christmas warez bb are wearing the Czechs. Between pisreoga and Ježíšek and St Wenceslas, a very spiritual time there. And with that, send Christmas greetings from Bohemia!
